The gardens and paddock
The front of the house has a perfect SW orientation and so gets the sun from early morning to late evening.
There are extensive grassed areas to the front and side, this is not lawn but paddock grass, with a large established lime tree providing welcome shade. There is also a prolifically fruiting plum tree and we have recently planted a cherry and a peach tree.
The views from the garden are absolutely glorious, overlooking a beautifully landscaped carp lake (see picture) and open fields.
To the rear of the property and attached hanger is a large garden area (currently rather overgrown). This would make a wonderful vegetable garden.
To the side of the property is a paddock eminently suitable for a couple of horses or other livestock. The paddock is not currently topped or cut, it is left to its own devices!
All in all the land included in the property extends to some 7000 sq m.
